Fresh, tasty, on time, follows orders, polite delivery guys, and always consistent. I've yet to encounter anything over/under cooked. Their work ethics appear competitive against the other restaurants on the island, and they logically don't want to lose customers who have many Chinese options from Queens which I stopped ordering from. China 1 stepped their game up.

The estimate on delivery was about an hour, but it actually came in 25 minutes! Good service.

I've ordered from China 1 about 5 times by now and EVERY TIME they are EARLY! One time I ordered and the food was at my door in 12 minutes! I keep my expectations to the promised time (usually about 40 minutes it says) and every time they have exceeded expectations. And the food is very good too -- the steamed dumplings are a personal favorite. :)

Delivery is always quick, orders are always correct (although sometimes I've asked to make things spicier and they haven't been all that spicy). Very inexpensive. Best option for delivery/takeout on Roosevelt Island.

I love their beef and broccoli- they make it perfectly tender-crisp, never mushy. This order arrived at my house exactly 10 minutes after I ordered it. I was shocked!

Great Asian vegetarian options along with traditional choices. All items were still hot and very tasty. I will definitely order from them again.
